Although Lil Durk went on Instagram Wednesday (May 29) to announce that he was turning himself in today, he apparently hasn’t followed through yet as a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Furthermore, more information has come out in terms of his legal trouble, as law enforcement sources have told TMZ that following his arrest Durk will be booked on five felony charges in connection to an Atlanta shooting.
The shooting in question occurred on February 5th at 5:45 AM at a popular restaurant called “The Varsity,” where arriving officers found an unidentified man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was then rushed to the hospital where he survived through surgery, while police say they recovered 13 shell casings from a rifle at the crime scene.
It’s also been reported that the authorities have surveillance footage of the shooting, as Durk is set to be charged with criminal intent to commit murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and another charge of associating with a criminal street gang to participate in a crime.
